The topsides
are done. A dark accent strip marks the beginning of the
turn of the chine. I keep accent strips to a minimum,
because I prefer understatement, and the hardwoods are
heavy. Some builders use staples at the formers, but I
find staples quite brutal, so I am using veneer pins to
hold the strips at the formers. Veneer pins make a small
neat hole. I try to keep them evenly spaced on each strip
and in a nice straight line. I place a pin in each plank
even if it is not required; it looks better that way
