Fisher With previous boats I have had all in one latticework style floorboards, but I found them a pain, so this time I am going to try solid fixings. I found these A4 SS threaded inserts online. They have been very handy. Here I am using them, along with some flanged allen-bolts, to hold down the floorboards. There will be a rubber strip between the floorboard supports and the floorboards. I drilled, filled, and drilled the bolt holes, because I used red cedar, which is quite soft, and I don’t want it crushing under the bolt heads. |
