Fisher The plans show the stem beveled to a point, but I think a heavier external stem will look more traditional. I am aiming for an external stem about 30mm wide where it joins the hull. The screws are to hold the strips tight to the stem bevel while the glue sets up. they will be removed and the planks cut back to the stem before glassing. |
