Unlike most
builders, I glass the inside of the deck, glue it on, sand
it, then glass the outside. At this stage the bulkheads
are fitted, the skeg box is in, and the maroskes have been
installed. I still have not cut the hatches or worked on
the cockpit. The rolls of tape on the fore deck are
pressing the deck down onto the front bulkhead. The car
batteries are pressing the rear deck down onto the rear
bulkhead. Both bulkheads have a bead of thickened epoxy on
their tops. The tops of the bulkheads will be fully
filleted later through the hatch and cockpit openings.
