The topsides are done. A white accent strip marks the beginning of the turn of the chine. I keep accent strips to a minimum, because I prefer understatement, and the hardwoods are heavy. Some builders use staples at the formers, but I find staples quite brutal, so I am using veneer pins to hold the strips at the formers. Veneer pins make a small neat hole. I try to keep them evenly spaced on each strip and in a nice straight line. I place a pin in each plank even if it is not required; it looks better that way.
