see here how much rocker is incorporated into the North Star. The
bouyancy in the ends seems to mitigate any effects of slowing it down
though and it retains good speed. Click
here for a performance review. The other boat is a Nimrod II designed by Darryl Graves before the days of the internet. It is a high volume 19 footer with more beam, slightly finer ends, less rocker and less V in the midsection. The NS is a bit faster. |
