The
boat has now got five coats of varnish…. Two coats,
then a light sanding, another two coats, then a wet
sanding, then a final fairly heavy coat. After a
couple of seasons I will add a couple of further
coats. In the background the rudder can be
seen. I was varnishing that too, as well as the
centreboard.
