Fisher The pale accent strip helps define the transition between the direction of the upper and lower planks. over the years I have become fairly proficient at getting the pointy run-outs at the ends to fit properly, but if they are not perfect the contrasting accent strip mitigates the look of any errors. Running parallel to the keel. makes it easier to fit the strips, which are under far less bending tension. |
