13'4" - Built by Etienne Muller 2020 - Designed by Selway
I decided to apply the keel using strips. The instructions call for ply, but I want to keep to natural timber if I could. I wanted something tougher than cedar for this section, and I had some poplar lying around, so I used that. It is tough, easy to work with, and bends well. Not so good in water, but it will be well sealed. Once I have filled out the keel section I shall begin stripping the rest of the hull from the keel down to the already stripped section.
